Pretty Paw - London FOG - Dogs Harness
The London Fog harness' plaid design is influenced by The Great Smoke of London in 1952. This historical period was a unique combination of foggy and windless conditions that was created by the use of coal, which coloring is used to structure the metallic ribbing. The mysterious shades configured in this fabric pattern give a certain cooling element with the various grey tones and deep, dark linear shadows allowing a subtle presence for the crimson hue to strike across the bodice while the silver embroidery evokes a sense of a quiet storm brewing with flashes of lightning travelling throughout the piece. In history, weavers were commissioned to create tartan patterns to identify various family clans. The word clan is derived from the Gaelic word clanna, meaning children, therefore, making it quite the unique comparison to the beloved "fur-child".
